And i know i'll receive the responses of 'because RIAT can attract rarities without needing to spend buck'

Or it might be they are still technically in conflict with Russia....

Saw the Fouga for the first time (that I can recall) last summer in Bray when the French team did a great display.

The one coming to RIAT seems to be listed as H. Boukharouba's one, so I think it is F-AZLV. Fantastic looking aircraft.

Each time they announce it as a 'C-130E', but they keep sending L.100 '64144' and what's the betting it will be that one again?

and each time the Pakistani AF complete the documentation listing it as a C-130E .......... :cuppa:

Just how much do you think you can fit into the available time BC? :snack:

What other types would you suggest booking? That are currently available in Europe? :dunno:

Oh I don't know, numerous Mustangs, T28(s), Catalina, TFC's P40s, KLuHV B25, Postbellum's O-2 (you know the one  ), Skyraider (Kennet or the French pair), T6s, Flying Bulls' P38, DC-6, and B25, Huey(s), Dakotas

Not all served with the USAF as their primary force, or are painted to represent them, or were primarily USAAF, but just a few of those in a flypast of the like we saw in 2015 would be an interesting nod to the hugely important historical aspect of the theme

That's the budget emptied then!

I am really looking forward to the show (my first ever riat).
And everything there is a bonus for me, anything else added is going to be amazing to see.
But for fougas there is a display team "patrouille trenchant " that could be booked as they are flying the weekend after at my home show in Bray Ireland .
http://www.brayairdisplay.com/in-the-air/
Along with some nice aircraft .
And it's a free two day show.

Go big or go home
Seriously though, have you and the team had chance to speak to Comanche Fighters about if they could send over another Mustang from Duxford for the flying/static, because I can't get over how gorgeous Berlin Express is

Indeed, and sent a display & spare aircraft with an IL-76 to Malta

As a rough count, I make it 27 acts/flypasts listed so far for this year.....am I correct in this ?
I think last year was also 27, wasn't it, but unless I'm mistaken some recent years have had more ( 30 ? ) haven't they ?
I'm not the only one on here who's hoping that there'll be a proper flypast for 'USAF-70', or at least something more than just the F-22/P-51 'Heritage Flight'.

Extract from the article linked below:-
The theme for this year’s RIAT show is the 70th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force. The Thunderbirds F-16 team is making a transatlantic trip to display at the show, and there will be a big lineup of USAF aircraft, including a B-1, B-52, C-17, CV-22 Ospreys and F-22 Raptor stealth fighters. The U-2 spyplane will also be making a rare public appearance, following the recent USAF decision to keep the high-flying jet in service indefinitely. Military aircraft from 17 other countries are also scheduled to appear at the show.

Brevet in your previous post on this you refer to it as being written by a journalist, did you see which journalist wrote the article?

Don't you think a few things being kept back until the near the event, or even until the event itself is a good thing? we enthusiasts have no divine right to know every forensic detail before the event, and above all, we're going anyway. Its going to be great, and it'll soon be here.

Top left of the page linked to, just underneath the article title.

I'm sure it will be a great show & I like looking at the statics - which is why i go on my own on the Friday.

But.... Saturday I take the family & like a lot of people i expect (perhaps even the majority - certainly many thousands), it's the flying they attend for.
Congratulations on the impressive static line-up. 2000+ posts on this thread, mostly very enthusiastic about them all - but all from a couple of dozen or so ppl.

no offence intended. appreciate all the hard work.

If we see a C5 & KC-10 (Thunderbirds support) this could be the best static line up since 2007?
