France confirms its Couteau Delta tactical display (2x Mirage 2000D) plus the Rafale Solo Display! Not only that but two Alpha Jets and the French Army returns with two Pumas on static.
The RAF will also be sending a Puma helicopter and a C-17A Globemaster, with the Army Air Corps providing a Wildcat.
Civilian statics include a rare appearance of the Red Bull Flying Bulls; with a Bo105 and the Bristol Sycamore! RAF Halton Aeroplane Club also sends a Cessna 152 and Tecnam Sierra.

Vive la France!!

Couteau Delta - I can't believe it!! Wonderful and unexpected news  Don't believe everything you read hey?!

So now I'm REALLY starting to believe that this year will be special - VERY special :yahoo:

One thing to note is that there will definitely be some gnashing of teeth as there's no way that they'll get even close to everything flying on all three days - or even Sat & Sun.

France has confirmed more support for this summer's Royal International Air Tattoo! Both the French Air Force and French Army will join the already confirmed French Navy at RAF100 celebrations at RAF Fairford on 13-15 July.

The French Air Force will field its Couteau Delta tactical display team comprised of two Mirage 2000D fighters, along with its frontline multirole Rafale C fighter in its own solo display. One the ground will be two Alpha Jet trainers joining the large static display expected for this year's show.

The French Army has also confirmed a pair of SA330 Puma helicopters, not seen at the Air Tattoo for some years. This additional announcement means that all three of France's military forces are confirmed for this year's Air Tattoo, an unprecedented level of commitment as we celebrate 100 years of the Royal Air Force.

Superb support form the French not only just for RIAT but the opening Duxford show too, obviously trying best to support RAF in 100th year.

I believe its a new routine for Couteau Delta too?
