How will you be enjoying the show?

Post by Abbo46 »

Thought it'd be nice to do this thread once again,

I'll be in FRIAT, MACH3 as always, driving to/from home every day.

So I'm wondering how will other people be enjoying the show. Are you camping, just coming for one day at the weekend, in an enclosure, just coming on Monday for departures, or will you be taking in the show some other way perhaps?

Staying at a hotel in Swindon for the Thursday arrivals with one parent, then living with the other (20 mins from show) for the Saturday and Monday.

Going down to Lechlade to stay in a local hotel for the duration, on the Monday before the weekend of the show, have a couple of days mooching around, then Wednesday - Monday as Mach 3, probably P&V East for Wednesday & Thursday, then Grandstand Friday-Monday. After departures on Monday going up to Anglesey for a few days as a holiday from the holiday   Bring it on

Yep another sunday goer here, lots of picture taking probably try to take some unusual static shots and a few display bits, and just keep my fingers crossed for what ever they are planning for the sunday.

Friday-Monday FRIAT Mach 2 for me and Mrs again.

Staying in Gloucester Thursday-Monday (5 nights) to save 2 hours+ driving every day.

I may drive down on my own for the Wednesday & Thursday arrivals (wife will be at work but I'm on annual leave  ), but I will probably see how the weather's behaving first!
Same old sh*t.............just happening on a different day!!!

Just Saturday and Sunday this year. As someone that doesn't drive or know anyone that does, I can kiss goodbye to arrival days and departure days, which is a shame as last year they were my favourite days :dunno:

For me its the 'full hit'; Wednesday to Monday in FRIAT, and camping at Kempsford.

I suspect there be many of us Kempsford regulars with an eye on the future and trying not to worry too much.

FRIAT Mach 3 for the second year...

Driving down to Witney on the Tuesday evening and staying for the third year in a nice apartment near to Sainsburys.

Depending on what is announced/weather, may do Totterdown on the Sunday. Don't want to miss a B2 topside pass by being on Totterdown!
Now officially qualifies as a 'regular' at Famous Dave's - El Centro
