I don't understand that, but I'm guessing it means lots of rain and low cloud? Let's hope you guys get some kind of display today - fingers crossed for you

I go off the metoffice website and nothing else. Forget any display today Friday. Weekend looking fine so enjoy the £6 pints today for anyone in there.

How is the cloudbase looking for tomorrow? Seems very little rain expected so clouds are my main worry.

Metoffice isn't showing any 'dark' cloud symbols (thick cloud) in their forecast, so I can't see cloud base being an issue.

Metcheck shows cloudbase at about 200m at 09:00 tomorrow, but then rising through the day. Sunday better.

What's the weather like right now in the area?

We're trying to decide whether to drive down this evening at pitch the tent or wait until tomorrow and get an early start.

I'm guessing it's not very pleasant for camping right now

Still hoofing it down, and is due to be for the rest of the evening/early hours, stopping around 3/4am.

If I were you, I'd recommend an early start tomorrow, conditions really aren't pleasant for camping this evening.

Not sure what happened to the thundery showers and sunshine due from 12/1pm to 3/4pm, which the BBC website seemed to be forecasting early in the day. Just rain, heavy rain and then a grey gloom for most of the day. I left at 3pm as more rain fell - but I'm attending all days except Sunday [including arrivals/departures] so might be lucky tomorrow. It seems to be rapidly improving 9am on Saturday onwards.

Well it's a grey start up on the hill after lashing it down most of the night.
Light drizzle at the mo but forecast to be stopp9about 9ish. Let's hope they get the forecast more accurate than yesterday.

The view in Cheltenham this morning looks remarkably similar to yesterday. Very low cloud base and drizzle.

Currently not to bad at Fairford, low patchy cloud drifting over with blue sky appearing in the gaps.

Fingers crossed for all attending on Saturday.
Looks like sunshine and clouds then 40% chance of rain from 2pm to 4pm according to metoffice website.

Yes excellent. WInds were a bit cheeky mid afternoon but compared to yesterday it was dream conditions.

I am glad for those that went that they got the weather the show deserved.
