As for the Matadors, fingers cross and also no tail art please!

Unbelievable, just be full of gratitude if they even turn up! :dunno:

I as much as everyone else would like to see them, Its just an opinion, I didn't like the tail art last year!

I was not so impressed by their show.

I remember RAF Harriers offering much more impressive display.

Anyway I'm always happy to see Harriers.

Depends if he means flying or static.

Could be F-15, B-1b, B-52, C-130, P-8, Osprey for static display, a few other contenders too.

Osprey flying is probably likely (ish) too, in some form or another (based on recent years).

Perhaps another top secret flypast, as in recent years? :ninja: (just remember to catch the first pass...)

Of course flying is always better.

I couldn't follow that link, was it time bound?
And... what about the car stickers? What are they all about?

Yeah not sure how old that link is but it's to the survey I've already completed, which was after last year's show :dunno:

Great news, another one I've not yet seen along with the Danish F16 (Flypast aside last year)

I feel I am way behind you guys lol. I was only doing seaside shows until my first RIAT in 2017. So while some may get sick of F-16s, I've a lot of catching up to do.

That's 3 f-16s already confirmed for RIAT this year. Let's hope they fly all 3 days.

They did say the other day in their email the Harriers could be coming back as the Spanish navy really enjoyed it and talks are on-going.

:ninja:

USAF F-16 demo is still missing....

I do not think anyone gets sick of high speed full AB flypasts and 9g turns.

I do, the US F-16 display last year was god awful, I’d go as far as saying it was one of the worst fast jet displays I’d ever seen

Don’t think that’s fair personally. I can think of two jet displays at the show that were significantly less interesting but given the nod because one was old, and one was old and British. I think the usaf version of the viper demo is just a different approach to F-16 demos than we’re used to seeing (I’ve see. The euro demos more than I’ve seen the usaf team) and their demo is built around regs that let them go fast and low, and they use that to yank on the f-16 as hard and as fast as they can rather than build a demo that really flows together like the Belgians, or polish. Just my personal opinion, but I’d rate it as a middle of the pack performer...not as unenthusiastic as the Greeks, but certainly not as polished as the Belgians or as enthusiastic as Turkey.

I loved the Viper demo, burners and power throughout the display. A take off that people will talk about for years to come. The European F-16 displays are mostly superb and based more on manouvers and grace, I found it hugely enjoyable seeing the F-16 in a different light to what I'm used too.
