I think DBH have purposely started the update early to attempt the world record for f5 presses.

Biggest decline list of any RIAT?

Saying that look at the state of the world, probably not a surprise!
Don't look at what's not coming, look what is coming.

The decline list has always been much much longer than the list of participants. (Simple maths)

Or the most comprehensive list that RIAT have ever given to be fair to them.

Its also currently the most countries ever participated at a single Tattoo if everything gets here, so kudos there as well.

Bahrain does have brand new Hawk T2's but in full desert camo, don't know if they're in operational service yet tho
Bahrain has Hawk Mk129s that were delivered in 2005 but they are all grey, so I'm not sure what airframes you're referring to?

Nah, the decline list is usually quite big.

You'll just have to wait until 12 to see what nation 57 are bringing :-)

(yes I am winding you up, got to have some fun some time)

Thought I saw picture's flying by of them in desert looking camo and read somewhere that they were recently delivered? May be me just seeing it wrong as indeed did see the grey one's pass by too.

Unless I have missed it nothing new on todays update list.
No mention of the C2 unless it will be a late edition next week?

They use F-5s and F-16s as trainers which fits with the theme but lets face it, its most likely going to be a Herc which is still great. Maybe they can slot a AH-1 in the back.

Sadly due to the training theme my guess stays at a Hawk, but a F5 would be amazing!

It's already up...
For the final aircraft update ahead of RIAT 2022, we are pleased to announce the participation of a new nation at the show, with the Kingdom of Bahrain sending an aircraft for the first time! One of their C-130J Hercules aircraft will be coming to the Air Tattoo for static display, and we are very excited to welcome them to RAF Fairford next week.

We are honoured to welcome a Kawasaki C-2 aircraft from the Japan Air Self Defense Force to RIAT 2022, on static display, to showcase this impressive transport aircraft, which we last saw at RIAT 2018.

Last week, the NATO Airborne Early Warning & Control Force confirmed availability of their aircraft for the Air Tattoo, and therefore we're pleased to announce one of their E-3A Sentry aircraft will perform a flypast during the Friday flying display.

Visitors to RIAT on Saturday 16th July will be treated to an appearance from the amazing Airbus BelugaXL performing two flypasts during the flying display programme!

With the show rapidly approaching, we can now finally announce some of our special flypast plans... On Friday 15th July, the RAF Red Arrows will fly with the RAF's new Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft to open the RIAT flying display and on Sunday 17th July, we'll see a unique pairing of the RAF Red Arrows alongside the ROKAF Black Eagles!
