Oshkosh list of attendee's

Post by lossiemouth »

Does anyone know of such a list for various years?

Scramble has a couple of very selective lists, and I can't see anything on Google. I realise that due to huge numbers involved that maybe such a thing doesn't exist.

Anyway, any help gratefully accepted.

There are around 10,000 aircraft attending each year, so I doubt even the most ardent spotter has a complete list

Dont know if Oshkosh arrivals show up on ADSB trackers ? If so filter for arrivals and screen shot every half hour on play back.
The FAA tower must have records of landing / take off times but don't know if this is publicly available

There is no FAA tower for Airventure, in fact everything you've ever known about air traffic control goes out of the window.

Have a listen to this, aircraft are referred to by their colour, type of wing, etc. and that's it.

I don't usually watch stuff like this but that was absolutely fascinating!

There is an FAA tower at Oshkosh, quite apart from the FISK caravan.

It’s crewed by a team of 64 controllers from all over the FAA, and they rotate through Fond du Lac tower, FISK and specialist departures positions.
