Also, very much a self-plug, but my Flickr limit is full and I don’t really know where else to outbid it,

But I caught the Wildcat trialling a full load of wing-stubs and Martlets at Yeovil last Tuesday:

Crikey, a half decent Swedish Gripen and now a nice, standard Typhoon!

It would appear that the UK has gained yet another Spitfire:

N356TE/TE356 has been de-registered and listed as "transferred to the UK". I'm led to believe she's currently at Biggin Hill.

Has been at Biggin since the summer, I am lead to believe she will return to the USA upon completion.

That's an interesting site. There's a video of Chuck Yeager surviving the widow maker, spinning for over 90,000ft before ejecting. Amazing stuff.

The F-15 is quite nice too. Alas, we won't be seeing it at RIAT. The Sentry Eagle 2020 Open House is on 18 July in Oregon along with c.50 visiting aircraft.
