No Tutor Display 2021

Didn’t know that there even was a technical issue with the fleet right now, but there we are.

Probably having difficulty fitting them with weapons pylons to replace the Batch 1 Typhoons.

There's an issue with the rudder actuator hinge brackets fleetwide:

Wow! I can't believe I missed this breaking news. Where exactly were these breathtakingly underexuberent Tutor displays scheduled for?
Before the daggers start flying, I appreciate the skill & finesse of the flying but the size of the aircraft / display distance from the watcher at most venues make for something less than a spectacle.
Argue that their value is in recruiting & I tell you that nobody joins the Forces to fly a Tutor.

Not directly maybe, but a lot of youngsters join the ATC for the chance to fly in one. And ATC membership is, without doubt, a very effective recruiting tool for the RAF.
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....

But how many who join the RAF don't end up flying one at some point? I admit it's lost as a display at somewhere like RIAT, but it's an important part of the RAF's display teams nonetheless. Hopefully it will be back in 2022.
With just the slightest bit of finesse, I might have made a little less mess.
