Sorry - not a fan of that!
Although it was "just shades of grey", I preferred the previous display scheme.

Looks amazing from the side! Not to sure on the top, but I don't mind - I must get some more shots of F16 displays this year!

Would tend to agree, against a typical Northern European sky, it will just look black. At least they made the effort.

I totally agree with you Sam, on the side view looking good, and the top doesn't.

Think its one of those schemes that you will only be able to decide when you see it on the real thing.

Too dark for me, preferred the shades of grey, at least you could actually see them against the sky. What made them think a dark blue and black on a grey aircraft would make a nice combination? I thought the point of a special was to make the aircraft stand out, not blend in.

I also think the 'squiggly' lines look pretty tacky, it looks like little more than someone let loose with a template in Photoshop without any plan. As for that awful 'spray paint' style spine, the less said about that the better. Oh well, at least we're seeing the Dutch one a fair bit this year too. Always nice to see air arms make an effort, but this isn't one of the better ones.

Not their best effort IMHO. Should have given 31Sm the display and kept the tiger aircraft from last year as the display bird.

Report B- could do better.

I'm contemplating buying a Gripen t-shirt and pretending to be Hungarian this year. :ninja:

The blue-ish streaks towards the tail put me in mind of a bluebottle.

Hmmm, I'm not really sure what to think... It does look very random, like the designer didnt have any plan for what he wanted it to look like when he started, its quite far from what I expected though, Ill give them that :P

Will have to see it in the flesh, but first impressions arent good It looks like one of those 1960s 3D pictures that has a moving images on it when you walk past it.

It'll be a bit like the KLU machine, great in the sun (if you like the design) but rubbish in cloud.

While wait to see it for real first. Certainly a departure from some of their recent conservative schemes though.
