Just found this amazing website with some lovely recordings of aircraft at airshows - really atmospheric!

Good find! Reminds me of a CD I once owned which featured numerous aircraft and airshow recordings, the best of which was a full 12-minute recording of Flying Legends 1996's P-51D tailchase. You have the sound of nine P-51Ds tailchasing, three B-25s flying low overhead at intervals, the sounds of various aircraft firing up for the balbo (the Hellcat was nearest the speaker, if I remember correctly) then towards the end, the glorious sound of the P-38 flying through at low level. Lovely!
