I'd be happy with the Polish Navy Mi-14 only. Hoping that might still be on the cards.

Such a great event, whatever turns up will be bonus.

Chris

I would like to thank Phil, Lee and the RAF Northolt team for putting on a great event.

The particptants were fantastic getting nearly all the aircraft up and running. Those spinning props and rotors were fantastic.

It was great to see so many familiar faces! Of a worthy mention was Cliffair, who bionic man like was put back together just for the event. His other half also needs a mention for her "care in the community" nurses role!

To be honest I couldn't pick a highlight from the aircraft there, all were fantastic in there own way.

To the person (Karl from GAR) who suggested that I would be the right width to create the perfect wind break, I was only mildly insulted, yet the statement was true I did make an excellent wind break!

Surely just being invited to such a prestigious event would be thanks enough!!!!

As for using Ian for a wind break....
I'm not exactly in a position to comment  you disappeared earlier than me so didn't get a chance to say goodbye so I'll say it now....byee

I knew the Sea Vixen would be unlikely Phil, but it would look good in the lights.
I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.

Reading an old issue of AFM for inspiration...

The Singaporean A-4 Skyhawks based in France are retiring next year... :heyhey:

And I still think a Royal Navy Avenger (King Air 350) would look rather nice.

Are Rafale and Typhoon (with chute) cleared into Northolt?

I can picture them parked nose on with their lights on... Photographed from the airstairs....

Not sure on how many flying hours left on the airframe or if it has been mentioned before.
The Blue lynx from Yeovilton or a zebra sea king would look great under the lights

I know it is pie in the sky but I would really love to see and Italian Airforce Piaggio Avanti as it is nothing like what has been seen at a nightshoot and the prop blur would be a little different...
