A friendly ask: anyone can point to a post about the best technique to photograph aircraft's at night? Obviously with a tripod, cable release and a warm coat, but much appreciated in a few more facts please?

I had pretty much the same question just before the last shoot and was able to put all the advice to good use. You really don't want to see my shots from previous ones....
Basically, read, digest and foremost...enjoy!!

I will be there, if Phil let's me!!

For those who have not been to Northolt Nightshoot I can only recommend. I also think the recommendation of people willing to travel from the midlands and from further north and to visit the event on more than one occasion speaks volumes for the uniqueness of the event.

I know people can be disappointed if aircraft don't turn up, but all air events suffer from this problem. If you are willing to give it a try I am sure you will enjoy it. I know first hand how hard Phil works to gain and keep support from the RAF Northolt team and how hard he works in getting aircraft to these events.

It should not be forgotten that the monies raised help to restore and maintain an important part of UK and RAF history, a WWII Ops building.

Is a Mil-14 likely, or not? But as my brother said, a Mil-24 would be super!

I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.
