They have'nt applied the griffin tail markings on the Alphas yet so will be great to see it for the first time under lights.

It appears to have been a touch of crossed wires. Its the prototype Hawk 154 that has the special markings so fingers crossed for that!

The Reds Hawk has dropped off the list due to them having a prior engagement in the evening relating to their 50th anniversary.

There are three other aircraft that are expected which will have to remain "surprise guests!" at the moment
Cheers Phil

Wow, it seems you are surpassing yourself on this edition Phil. :worship:

Just curious, how many parking spots are available to host visiting aircraft under the floodlights ?

Keep up the good work,
Iwan

Really looking forward to this one.

For the first time,I do not have to worry about `can I get leave`, as I now am 4 days into retirement, having worked 43 years at BOAC / British Airways.

Nice feeling. :yahoo:

At the risk of taking this thread off topic, I also take early retirement at the end of September though I have only two working days left
Very much looking forward to it

Is it way too late for this now, or is there any chance I can still get in on this? I've been meaning to go to a night shoot for ages but I can't normally pre emt if I'll be able to make it too far in advance.

Thanks all

Thanks. I have sent Phil a message too but then I thought should I have asked on here first? Didn't want to waste his time if it's already common knowledge that you have to register interest a certain number of weeks or months in advance, or if I've missed a post saying it's already full. Cheers.
