Hi Phil,

I have been in the past, but had to miss the last one for family reasons. If I could be added to the list for the March 5th event that would be great.

Have you got a draft list of attendees as yet?

Thanks,

Matthew

Fantastic, loved them last time. Do the Americans ever take part? What are the chances of them donating an Osprey or Blackhawk to the event do you think?

Great to see the Apache guys eager to make a return

An AAC Lynx AH7 would be a welcome addition before they're retired at the end of March too!

Looking at The Photographer's Ephemeris, we'll have about 20 mins of moon rising from the eastern horizon before it disappears behind the hangar around 18 50... if it's clear.

Hah, let's hope this time. Encouraging to see their commitment though - if you don't mind me asking Phil, how come the French are so generous to these shoots (bearing in mind I really don't know the history of the event)?

Because they are good people and they "get it" when it comes to funding the restoration of the Northolt Sector Operations Building.

WIth the 32 Sqn HS125s due to be withdrawn from use on 28th March 2015 this event will be the last chance to catch one on a Night Photoshoot

Thanks for the heads-up on this Phil. Assume they'll retire with little fanfare apart from their nightshoot appearance.

The Ramada Days Inn/South Ruislip, which is right next to the South Ruislip tube station, have 15% off rooms at the moment if any one is looking for somewhere close for an overnight stay.

Gutted
Is that for age or lack of use reasons Phil?

Either way sad news for 32 Sqn who in my humble opinion keep the smartest aircraft of any unit, be it military, civil or private.
I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.
