Just a quick reminder that you don’t have to pay museum admission fee if you just want to browse the Museum Shop – last access to which is at 3.40pm at this time of the year.

As ever plastic kits proving quite popular albeit only one Victor kit remains in stock; but lots of interest in the Trumpeter Wellingtons; along with the Gulf War (Anniversary) Tornado & Jaguar kits.

Lots of quality aviation books in stock e.g. Black Box Canberras and of course our own Newark Air Museum history book!

Full Shop info in here.

Just 2 days left to visit before we close for three days over Christmas – great chance to view the aircraft inside & out and also to do that bit of last minute Christmas shopping (no admission fee if just shopping – free car parking right outside).

Christmas opening details – can be found in here!

A new Car Auction vehicle storage compound that has been built close to the former airfield runway that is now known as, Vulcan Way seems to be confusing some museum visitors this week. While it may look like we are really busy (it would be really nice to think that they were all visitors) these vehicles are just in storage and visitors need to drive along another 100 metres or so to get to the museum.

We may need to revise our directional signage but in the meantime there are a few more details in here!

We are open through and including New Year’s Eve, closed on New Year’s Day and then we reopen on Monday 2nd January 2017 – further information in here.

Even with the foggy conditions it’s been quite busy at the museum today and we hope that a few more people will turn-out tomorrow to help us finish 2016 with a flourish!

Our open cockpit offer tomorrow is the Argosy Experience!

Still some good post-Christmas aviation items on offer in the Museum Shop!
