The Spirit Of Concorde Watch

Post by Euan Buchan »

Anyone seen this 50th anniversary watch of The Concorde. I just ordered myself one as I was feeling low. This is the watch https://www.bradford.co.uk/spiritconcor ... gI-mPD_BwE

That would be the last thing I'd throw my money at if I was feeling low, I hope it cheers you up when it comes.

Do you get a discount if you order with the Princess Diana memorial figurine and William and Kate wedding plate?

Not when I ordered mine  - I did get 10% off a Golden Jubilee paperweight though...

I wonder where all the 29th March Brexit commemorative plates have ended up?

I love that's it's "Officially licensed by Spirit of Concorde Limited"

Why not just say: "We have paid a film company that was formed in 2015, and which has made a film about Concorde that you can hire out to show at corporate events, to use its logo on the watch"?

Go on Dan, you know you want one.

"Replica Lancaster actually moves and plays authentic sound". :lmao: :lmao:

It seems strange that the Dambusters Masterpiece 7 inch Sculpted Cock comes with a 365 day guarantee, yet Euan's watch only has a 120 day satisfaction guarantee. :dizzy:

Are they selling those too? It will save a trip to Ann Summers.

So much to enjoy in that Lancaster clock. The scale. The nosewheel. The hangar posters.

I see the black dog is included, which no doubt will satisfy their target audience.

They use the term 'you will not find this item anywhere else' with no apparent sense of irony whatsoever.

Sorry Dan, would you care to explain this as for a moment there it looks like you are implying that anyone who buys this is a racist. Now I’m sure, such a professional and well respected journalist as yourself would never lower himself to such a sweeping generalisation or inflammatory comment. Would you?

Surely if your vision is good enough to see the colour of the dog, you would never contemplate being a customer in the first place.

I have never seen anything quite like that.

It is so naff, it is almost worth having. If I had the cash to waste, I'd get one.

This lot is top of the tat charts, knocking the Ukrainian Air Force's RIAT jumble sale off number one spot.
It reminds me of those RAF trainers from a few years back :hide:

I wonder what did happen to those trainers. Probably thousands of pairs buried in concrete underground somewhere, along with Terry Jervis’s RAF rebranding contract and the video tapes for “RAF vs the aliens” about 3 people watched at Spirit Of Adventure...
