HHA aircraft list

Post by sam6778 »

If possible, could someone please post a list of all HHA's aircraft & their current status. This is just for my own curiosity, if this isn't the proper place for this request, please let me know. Cheers Sam.

Is the plan still for that F-4 to be flown over?

I'd imagine it'll be like the Sukhoi and Buccaneer, it'll fly when there's a contract for it - but the contract will need to get it from Germany first.

Thanks very much for the info cg_341. HHA's website indicates they own 10 Mk58's, have they sold some in the past or are they hired out to other users eg. ATAC? Cheers, Sam.

I’ve read some interesting stuff about HHA recently.

They were supposed to enter ASDOT bid with a certain American aircraft manufacturer but that consortium never submitted a bid in the end. Why?
They’ve lived at Scampton rent free for years, have no MOD contracts, and aren’t flying for the MOD. So how and why are they at Scampton? Plus in 2021 they’re homeless.

So it makes you wonder how they pay the bills and how they still operate?

I'd be interesting in reading the source for them being there rent free.

I've often wondered about them having an Su-22 and buccaneer, 'just in case' someone needs them for training.

Flying the ex Embraer T bird almost daily suggests they were busy working for someone prior to the current virus lockdown...

I guess for crew currency being a 2 seater. They must have friends in high places getting the aircraft on the military reg without having a single MOD contract.
