Hi All,
I spent an enjoyable day at Lakenheath yesterday with some gorgeous light up until around 2pm.
The 495th are certainly throwing their new aircraft around in the circuit with some very low approaches and some fairly steep approaches from high altitude too.

So you did get a good sunset then - that first image is a stunner. Where were you for that one, right up against the fence?

Thanks, we were very lucky with the sun popping out below the overcast.
Yeah, I walked down to just to the right of the runway and pressed my lens against the fence with the widest aperture set possible so that the wires weren’t visible.
