Apaches x3

Post by micktruan »

Just had a flight of 3 x Apaches fly over Basingstoke at 14.46 heading eastbound, following a singleton, not a usual occurrence in these parts.

They went SW this morning as two pairs, caught them over my garden both ways, I suspect the 3 + 1 return means somebody has been doing Jubilee flypast practice.

For the number crunchers:

ZJ199 and ZJ197 MACHETE flight

ZJ208 and ZJ210 VIPER flight

That was in the morning, didn't check the numbers this afternoon though ADSB has MACHETE 1 ZJ197 nearly home now.

I also saw them in the morning, though counted 3, it was also my impression they were the same as those in the afternoon, for this area an unusual sight particularly in pairs.
