It's on the ground and what a stunner it is!

The Italian MB-339 & A-11 looked really sharp with their special tails. Overall some very pretty aircraft today.

One of the two stationed there, just had to be towed out and parked, so yes it is there.

Thought it was just one, but good to hear there's 2 of them. Will both be on static just like the tornados and does any of the pair have a special livery like in 2019?

Did anyone see where the Danish T-17s parked please? Hoping it's south-side somewhere as they'll be really nice to photograph!

I am not a fan of turbo props but I really liked todays rehearsals by the PC-9M solo and the Mustang X-ray demo.

With the other display teams next to Red Zone on the south side.
2024 shows: Abingdon, Cosford, Sywell, RIAT, Zeltweg with a couple of Duxford and Shutteworth shows thrown into the mix.

Totally. But I think The Frecce are probably the best European team

Any idea why they got asked to terminate???
They didn't, according to Planes TV they were low on fuel due to a recce of the airfield!
Over the scanner they were told to terminate
When returning from the formation with the reds, at least 3 were very well over the East P+V, then during their display they encroached the stands they were so far off the orange markers.

Mind you the Swiss hornet had the same problem. being far from the madding orange markers as to be over crowdline.
Got to love Russianhardware

It really is only the initial take off you miss. As soon as they're airborne you can see just fine if you're back a bit.

I'm not a big photographer (about 5' 8" actually...) but I just plonk myself down somewhere back from the fence (when not in the grandstand) and the view is just dandy.
Did you mean in the Red zone, or is that true in the Green zone as well ? Looks like were going the Cotswold route this year , as usually go via the M5, so will be on the Red car park, so will probably try Red zone first.

Good news is my Anxiety level is starting to come down, and Im actually looking forward to Saturday right now !

The Frecce have been far more entertaining for years than the Reds who are just stale and clinical. Fortunately the Reds slot this year is convenient for grabbing a mid morning coffee and having short queues.

Might need a new thermometer!
It's barely 10 C!
