Gonna come out to bat for them, but this is quite good. It ends speculation and rumour, it feels quite nice and natural/light, and provides clarity.

So does that mean they're displaying with six aircraft on the tour?

I'm surprised nobody has commented on the latest developments.

Some interesting discussion amongst (presumably) mainly people with a service background here (from post 185 I hope I have linked correctly).....

It really is time to disband them, what a PR disaster.

Calm down Andy, just because I don't agree with you doesn't make me a troll. What do I know about PR? Hopefully quite a lot as that's what I get paid to do. What do I know about the RAFAT situation? No more than you I'd imagine, because neither of us are privy to the full facts.

It is a PR disaster for "the pinnacle of the RAF", numerous senior officers have allowed this to happen, either knowingly or unknowingly, and now it's all starting to come out.

When was the last time the RAF sacked two RAFAT pilots in a year? When was the last time any RAF unit had a situation where "Over 40 crew members told commanders of sexual misconduct by...pilots"

RAFAT exist to "promote UKPLC", what sort of promotion is this? Well I suppose with the current Tory government it's not far off normality, but that's besides the point.

It's not acceptable that sexual misconduct on this scale can be allowed to exist in the highest profile unit in the RAF, sacking a few pilots isn't enough, it needs scrapping and starting again.

What time to disband the Daily Mail cg_341? Excellent plan! While your at it why not the Telegraph, Daily Express, The Sun and all those other dreadful Newspapers!

Nothing but Scandal Rags all of them.

Surely the biggest PR disaster would be to scrap the most popular UK airshow act rather than fix the problem...

RAF pilots obviously spending too much time with colleagues from Qatari and Saudi militaries and adopting their medieval views on women. They should have been stood down this summer, given a total revamp and bad apples removed, and relaunched for 2023.
