Good start - its display at waddo 2 years ago was awesome!

Shame the Swiss Air Force is not sending the Team PC 7 / Patrouille Suisse to the Reds 50th Anniversary show at Waddo, especially since the Patrouille suisse and Team PC 7 are celebrating their own 50th/ 25th anniversaries!

Anyway, hope for more of the same ( and aerobatic teams ) in the next few weeks/months!

Good luck to SilentFlight and all at waddo

It's awesome to see the Swiss F-18 demo return to Waddington this year along with thr Reds! I love the build up to the show, can't wait to see what else gets added to the line up over the next few months. I've booked the weekend off already and I'll be ordering my tickets in February!

Great news with Patrulla Aspa, nice to see the Spanish are still willing to visit UK shows! I assume support will be provided by a CASA C295?

What a great start by Waddington, I'm not going to pretend to be a fan of choppers but a UK debut is very welcome

Oh man, Waddo wasn't really on the cards for me this year but I might have to try and scrape together the funds for it if this trend continues. What a great chance to see something never seen here before.

I've not seen a multi-helicopter display before! Great to see Waddo securing something new and exciting for 2014- role on July!

A good start. When is the Tornado role demo going to be confirmed? The star of the show! :win:

I hope I'm wrong but I'm guessing its unlikely the Tornado role demo will be back, with the drawdown of the Tornado fleet in full swing  They have to stop sending Tornados to RTP or there won't be any left by July

I hope you are wrong too. Two seasons without the role demo is just too much.

That was for the 2013 season but I would be very surprised if we see it back this year or in the future for that matter.

Can we have an equivalent Typhoon role demo then...?

The way things are going though, we might be lucky to get a Tutor role demo!
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....

Seahornet

You mean the Typhoon role demo which would be a performance take off followed by a climb to FL150 to FL200 and then sit in a race track pattern  Not sure people would appreciate that

Think you will not see any role demo or display flying again at an Airshow from the Tornado, the static park is about all you will get.
they will quietly slip away from the public eye into history without any fanfare or send off, just like types of recent.

Also with 617 stood down I would assume its less likely. With regards to types Vulcanxh558's post I agree with types just slipping away, however at least the Tristar was able to put in a few flypasts last year at RIAT and Abingdon
