BBMF have stated on twitter they are grounded at the moment due to a technical issue, might mean we will possibly loose them form this and other shows this weekend.

Oh no - if they can't come will be a shame but I hope the Biggin hill guys will try to find a replacement to fill their slot, blades/ yakovlevs ???

On the arrivals side - 2 Belgian F16s have arrived at Biggin Hill ready for Eastbourne and the Biggin Hill Air Fair this weekend!!

Wow - ultra rare two ship display by a Mi35/ Mi 171! looking forwards to it

Has this combination displayed anyone else before?

I have seen it once two years ago at Kliene Brogel, but not here in the UK....

But that was a 2 ship Mi171 display at KB, the Hind flew solo. Either way a military Hip will be making it's UK debut in a UK flying display..

Hope we see blue sky and a high show from the Patrouille De France as their display looks a little good this year!

I think it's unlikely that there will be any high displays due to the stack above ,unfortunately

La Patrouille de France have arrived for their rehearsal at Biggin Hill!!

Looking forwards to seeing their only public display in the UK on sunday, I just hope the weather is ok, looks a bit iffy currently.
Also unlike RIAT can the Biggin Hill team re-shuffle the flying display if the forecast is bad to ensure the Patrouille de France get to display?

With the potential loss of the BBMF is it too late for the organisers to get a replacement? one of the displays doing eastbourne seems most likely like the Blades/ Team Raven

Presume they were used over the sea, :dunno: something that is in short supply at Biggin. :hide: Robin.

Although not a chippy, the Kings Arms in Leaves Green is ok for a bite to eat.

Will be the flat show due to airspace restrictions

I am thinking of avoiding the manic exit at the end of the show by parking somewhere close to Churchill Way - Have looked at Google maps but not sure what streets would have parking restrictions. Not afraid of a decent walk to showground. Any ideas from anyone local. You can pm me if you don't want to broadcast.
