Interesting, I’ve not attended when they’ve used this end before, do we drive down or will they shuttle people down there?

You’ll drive down
Re: CWJs Bruntingthorpe 26th August 2018
In May, I did four miles between entering the airfield and parking but got a good view of the TriStars on the way.

Just wondering looking at the Sunday weather forecast, from experience will they still run if it's wet?

Honestly don’t know if I want to go knowing it’s going to be horrible in the weather

Looks like 90-95% chance of heavy rain for most of the day according to MetO. However Netweather/Metcheck give showers until late afternoon ..... worth a punt I reckon

Be just like the good old days at Middle Wallop, not sure I ever recall a dry show there!

Runs start at 1100, what sort of time does it normally end?
Thank you

Absolutely brilliant day loved every minute even if i did get soaked, not very busy brilliant to see the lightning again its so loud. Very impressed by the service free food in the afternoon due to the weather apparently as a thanks for staying so long. JP had a small fire on the brake and the Hunter t7 nose leg failed when being towed back to the museum end but all in all very good. Credit to all the marshalls for braving the weather!

Fabulous day ! Spectacular plumes of spray behind the larger jets.
Sadly our party had to leave somewhat early as my elderly father was struggling with the conditions.
I would like to express a huge Thankyou to the organisers, and also the crew and teams who were not deterred by conditions. Bravo !
Hopefully the reduced gate receipts doesn't leave too much of a hole in the finances.
We have already blocked out two dates in the 2019 calendar: May 26 and August 25th - unmissable events !

My first cold war jets and despite the conditions I really enjoyed seeing these classic machines being put through their paces. I ended putting my camera away and just watched after the nimrod. Will definitely be back next year. My favourite from the day.

Can anyone confirm the next CWJ event is going ahead late May this year?
Not been before, but very keen to go this year.
