Over the far side by the approach atm so can only see it through binos. Its sat on its wheels, but not sure if the wings etc are fitted.

Gnat F1 is outside.

Cool. Really looking forward to this, seems like they've made a big effort. There might be limited representation in terms of type, but if all the aircraft listed turn up there will be a very respectable turn out. Fingers crossed the event proves to be a success and it's the start of something positive for the classic jets.

L-29 Delfin just arrived. Jag is a two-seater which tallies with the rumour I heard a few weeks back.

Hunter is out of the hangar ready for towing to the stand.

Oh the L-29 is attending. There has been no mention of it, unless I missed something?

PC-12 is in. Waiting for the Strikemasters and then may well call it a day. Pretty slow.

Short but sweet. Caught it in nice light returning to parking.

Yes.

Strikemasters are in now too. Left the airfield as the TLE event is getting underway. Aircraft were nicely positioned for photos, shame they're not leaving them like that for the weekend.

SUNDAY VISITORS PLEASE NOTE: Anyone intending to come to the Jet Fest on Sunday needs to be aware that the Airfield is also hosting the Players car show at Weald Aviation. This will involve about 5000 boy racers, who, from past experience over many years, will not treat the Airfield with respect. You will need to allow extra time to get onto the Airfield. Indicate to the Marshallers in the parking area that you want to go to Jet Fest and they will direct you to The Squadron. I am not working on Sunday and will be farr away from North Weald at Coalhouse Fort to take some photos for our newsletter.

Really excellent day at Jetfest yesterday - laid back, lots of planes including some unexpected treats (a very nicely painted Yak and a beautiful red/green Su-29, the latter of which just happened to be there I think), great weather allowing for a nice stress free time (a crowd line essentially 1-deep allowed some good scope for photos).

An eye opener how often the air ambulance went out (it was at least 4 times during the afternoon).

Thanks to everyone for all the effort that went into it, hopefully it will be repeated next year (could the Gnat F1 be flying by then?).

Just got back from Jetfest, nice to see so many jets all in one place...

Fingers crossed they do it again next year and it's a big affair.

G-VIVM was in the hangar on maintenance and had many of it`s panels removed , so could not be moved, next year maybe.

A very enjoyable afternoon, despite the grey skies on Sunday. Do we know what happened to the Scout, Wasp, or Bronco, as they were'nt in attendance? A first for me to see the visiting P51 "Sharky" beautiful aircraft, and i just love that Hunter. it looked like Chris Heames flying out in the L29, is he the owner? Cracking event!

It was indeed Mr Heames flying the Delfin, not the owner though. Bronco cancelled on the Friday due to a late commitment elsewhere. Wasp departed on Friday PM and didnt see it come back.

Thanks for the info, can you provide a list, or link, of what else was hiding in the hangars, indeed a list of Hangar numbers ?
Several Wasp / Scout could be seen at the back of the right hand end of the hangar adjacent to the Cafe, whilst a black/ yellow strip JP T3/4 (not VIVM) could be seen from the left hand end.
