This will probably be the usual Aerolegends promotional event, but can't complain with those prices, good value.

Indeed, thoroughly enjoyed the last two shows there ,a relatively relaxed atmosphere compared to the frenzy of RIAT at week later !

Sally B added, Saturday only, flying in formation with the two Dakotas.

If you buy through Groupon, enter discount code BUCKET at checkout to get a further £2.25 discount on the already reduced prices, meaning a weekend ticket will set you back only £12.75 - less than half the price compared to purchasing via the event website, and £7.25 cheaper than a single-day ticket.

It's valid both days at that price too, so it's really £6.38 a day!

Sorry Andy! :hide:

I mentioned in the review last year though that this is a show where you can get discounted tickets through a voucher website.

No worries - I'll try to remember if I go next year! This is my first trip to Headcorn and am looking forward to a new venue

Any tips, especially about parking and getting out afterwards as I'm on a tight timetable for getting home

Last year there was an RTA on the roads outside the airfield, and then the Dartford tunnel was closed. We ended up going home via the Blackwall tunnel, and it took about 3 hours IIRC.

Edit - just looked up last year's thread, it was a 5+ hour return!

That was an absolute nightmare, we left early (I was hoping to earn some brownie points with the wife) only for the RTA outside and the M25 to be one massive arsehole. The journey took near on 4 1/2 hours to get home which in turn didn't win me anything but abuse.

As for the cheap tickets on the ticket website, it's good to see. Think we paid about £12 last year and it was an absolute steal, definitely my favourite venue after Old Warden...

I think last year I got the weekend tickets for about £9 with a discount code! It's got to be the best bargain on the airshow calendar, and I agree, it's a wonderful venue.

Not yet sure if I'll do both days in Kent, or Sunday at OW. Hate to pass up a bargain.

Those prices are incredible and I thought our £89 for four to camp for the weekend was a steal!

Get on streetview and you'll see that it's just off a relatively quiet A road. Assuming the area stays accident free and they have some good traffic marshalling helping traffic to turn north towards Maidstone there shouldn't be any problem.
