I have my hopes pinned on this as the only airshow I'll see this year now that Cosford is scrubbed, and I thoroughly enjoyed it in 2019. More importantly it will be a surprise birthday treat for a nine year old, so keeping fingers crossed.

I'm sure it will be fine, with Boris in charge what could possibly go wrong?

Really shaping up to be an excellent show.

Bit of a shame however as Ultimate Fighters due to appear at Bournemouth and the Hurricane and Fury in the nightshoot at Duxford on the same weekend so we’ll have to wait and see what actually operates out of Cosby.

Lancaster announced on their website and social media.

Sadly, Cosby’s been removed from Sally B’s website and looks like there’s no more aircraft announcements from the Victory Show

Seeing those two together would be a sight for sore eyes, has it ever happened?

Happy to be corrected but I believe the last time it happened was in 1993 at the Great Warbirds Display.

BBMF Lancaster was engine running at Duxford today so a first flight wont be too far off. Sally B is parked on the same pan so that's as close as they have been for a while, albeit on the ground.

Was also down for East Kirkby last weekend, but dropped off the list due to being U/S. A shame as I’m yet to see it.

Hopefully nothing too serious.

We seemed to have gained an Anson though!

Which sadly doesn't look like the picture the last time I saw it. Eeeugh!

Ooh P47, that's a worthy substitute for the Fury in my books.

Would anyone happen to know whether there is an air display on the Friday or is it the battle re enactment only?

Thanks Gt5500, I did see that and maybe I should have asked the question in a different such as the following:

If anyone on here has been to the Victory Show on a Friday could you let me know what if any activities I might expect to see on the Friday please? I'm planning to stay overnight on Friday for the Saturday show and I may make a full day of it? Thanks.

Its mainly as set up and school day, limited arrivals in terms of aircraft.

A totally fictitious green drab scheme, with D-Day stripes, with its registration applied in the wrong font. :thumbsdown_tone1:

Thanks SilentFlight, I'll probably pass on the Friday then and drive up that evening after work.
