Here's a start! I went to AirVenture for four days at the end of July. I hope these photos will give you an idea of the range of aircraft that visit. There really is nothing like it!

Day 2 - rather more of a warbird flavour today.

What a truly incredible experience that must have been! The highlight for me would definitely have been seeing the two B-29s!
Thanks for sharing!

An excellent selection of images. Andy. It was such a pleasure to briefly meet you at this event. I concur with your statement re: the difficulty of capturing an image of every significant aircraft that attends. I spent eight days and >10hrs per day at the airport and still missed some aircraft.
FWIW, I do not see any of the noise that was evident in some of your previously-submitted R5 images. Nice work!

Re: Blackbird goes to Oshkosh - update - Day 3
Many thanks to you both.
Day 3 started with a visit to the excellent seaplane base which is a superb location. Starting with one of my favourites...

Re: Blackbird goes to Oshkosh - update - Day 3
Great pics Andy.
I will have to get there at some point, although I'm not quite sure what I really think of sticking floats on the SM.1019 or that odd ex USAF Beaver in a funny Navy scheme on floats. lots of lovely ex US warbirds though even if they always get European schemes badly wrong - FW149?
Always good oddities like that NASA Lancair as well.
More please.

Re: Blackbird goes to Oshkosh - updated again - Day 4
More superb content! That FG-1D Corsair landing shot is a cracker & the following two E-2C shots are essential viewing. A low departure & a pairs dirty flyby doesn't happen too often in the real World!
