Fantastic lineup so far.

If all goes well I’m looking to attend this.

For anyone going I'd recommend it after my visit in 2019, I had a 'big year' that year trying to mop up a lot of types I wanted to see flying around the UK, Jersey, Slovakia and I thought this was the most enjoyable all round show. I can't go this year unfortunately.

The display was pretty well organised and relaxed, normal rules apply for getting in early if you want somewhere on the crowd line. They had corporate tents taking up valuable viewing space but that's unavoidable these days I guess. The camping worked well, decent site with nice loos/showers and good quality tents hired, the best thing though was camping within the wire next to a taxiway and having early access to the statics before the general public were allowed in, and being there on Monday for departures which wasn't a public day. Shame there's no former Soviet fixed wing displays this year but you might see some leaving on Monday possibly. I saw the Czech Hind/Hip SAR demo at SIAF and was impressed so that should be good.

Food during the display was great, especially the bbq from the Zywiec beer stands, in the evening you can get a taxi into Gdynia for a curry/pizza or whatever or there is a petrol station a short walk from the campsite that does hot snacks, deli food, fresh groceries and has a decent selection of bottled real ale.

I found the people from Aerobaltic very helpful, there had been a reduction in ticket prices after I paid for two and a nice woman tracked me down on the airfield and provided a refund in cash.

On the way out Gdansk old town is worth a couple of days to relax and has some good eating places. All in all a very enjoyable weekend.

Looking forward to this. Been a bit of shifting around on the flying programme it seems, no Iskras other than the Red-White, An-2 gone, but TS-8 into the flying display now.

Should be a good weekend if the weather holds. I'm only there for Saturday and Sunday unfortunately but it's a great lineup.

Good review and great photos - thank you for posting!

Really gutted to have missed out on this, especially the SH-2G and the Iskras - never managed to catch either.

I’d no idea the Seasprites were set to retire so imminently.

Cheers

It was actually the Iskras that got me to the show in the first place as I was really keen to see them before they go (in operational service), but the Seasprite was very much an added bonus for the same reason. Interestingly the Haze was originally billed in the flying display but was swapped for the Seasprite. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on the show in the future.
