"we will let you know when we have more information about photo opps. Most aircraft will, as I´m sure you have guessed arrive on the Friday in time to do a practice round for some of them. The base will not be open for public on Thurday-Friday but there are some places where you can stand outside the fence."

Spotter details are now up. If you get a pass you can sit on a small hill to the south east of the runway outside the fence but within the restricted zone hence the need for the pass. You will not be able to see helicopter displays which take place in a different area.

IF you want to see where it is look here http://kartor.eniro.se/?q=malmslat Pilgården is not marked on google it is near St. Gälstad on the map

It is at the Aeromuseum at Save so I understand and the first flight will be from there later in the year. Not sure who owns it. Most of them went to Columbia Helicopters in the US. I am sure Agg will know more.

My travel is booked, ive emailed for the spotters places but not heard back yet. Really excited about this one. Btw, i came through Sweden last year, found the Museum content great but lightning awful for pictures.

Just realized that on the english version it says that a finnish NH90 will fly in the display, it is not on the swedish version of the website.

The schedule for the airshow days will be released on friday. The organizers says that it's been tough to fit every aircraft and helicopter in the schedule and they want it to be mostly the same both days. So we have to assume that there will be some differences I think.

Looking at that the only loss I can see is the Dakota but we've gained the Tunnan which wasn't on the list I had, Hind now flying rather than static and the SAAB formation. I'm more than happy with that!! :heyhey:  ALCA pair sounds different.

There are unconfirmed indications that Team 60 will resurrect for this weekend only after a 7-8 years on the ground. Team 60 for those of you that don't know is the Swedish air force official display team consisting of 6 SK60, the team does/did formation flying and solo pair manoveurs with smoke during their displays. But again this is unconfirmed indications!

Gripen E (NG) will unfortunatley make it first flight later in the autumn/winter.
