Last time I went the same aircraft flew Guernsey in the morning and Jersey in the afternoon but were based in Jersey which is also where the static display is.

Never been to the Guernsey one

Jersey has had a budget over 3 times that of Guernsey, so previously has been able to afford such rarities as the Swedish Historics, Noratlas and French warbirds. Whether that is the case this year with the pandemic, I don’t know.

Guernsey display runs from 1100 - 1315 and features much the same aircraft , although RAFAT, BBMF and Typhoon will base in Jersey if you want airport shots - recommended from their aero club balcony.

Guernsey runs a static display on the Wednesday 2-5, which affords good photo ops of display aircraft capable of landing in Guernsey .

Guernsey cancelled

from the ES

Guernsey Air Rally cancelled for second year running due to coronavirus concerns
Guernsey’s popular Air Rally has been cancelled for the second year in a row over coronavirus concerns.

The Aero Club event was due to take place between 10 and 12 September.

However, organisers have decided to call it off due to worries about hosting more than 100 visitors from outside of the Bailiwick.

Does anybody have a better link to the Jersey Airshow ?
www.jerseyairdisplay.org.uk is a confusing mix of 2020 / 2019 reports.
For example where is the information that the Swedish Historic flight will attend.
Thanks Paul

Seriously solid line up. Would love to see the Alize. If only we could get a Gannet flying...

Is the project to get the St Athan one flying again continuing, or has it been abandoned now?

Despite some last minute cancellations (BBMF, A400, Wildcat & P51), Guernsey had a varied display in dry conditions - started flat with the Blades and the 1500ft cloud ceiling gave an impressive Typhoon display with lots of fluff and noise. Chinook, RR Spitfire, Rich Goodwin, Starlings, RAFAT all enjoyed, although the expected 3 passes by the P8 turned out to be just one.
