For anyone planning on going to this by train South Western Railway (think that's the current name anyway) are planning a strike on the Friday and Saturday.

Is there any truth in the rumour that this could be the last ever UK appearance of the Breitling Jet Team ? That their contract with Breitling is due to expire at the end of the year and they will go the same way as the DC3, Connie and Wing Walkers?

Think it'll be down to the weather, whether I go to this one.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Breitlings, but only if there's a decent blue sky for them to perform in.

There is a NOTAM out tommorrow presumably for a practice display from the Breitling team. Anyone know any exact timings? Thanks.

Does anyone know which evenings the Breitling Team are performing the dusk display? I can't seem to see the info on the website.

Thanks

Just been confirmed that a Tornado will be opening the festival at 2:30 today (Friday). It may just be a run past, no further details given) but at least something will be making some nice noise today.
EDIT Apparently it will just be a flypast with the Tornado at 1000ft, so not much to get excited about!

Does anybody know if the Breitling Jet Team will be using flares for the dusk show?

Did the tonka flypast happen? Anything special or a damp squib?

Yes there was a tonka flypast; saw it on the live feed so not sure about your other question, it immediately gave way to the Spitfire;

any idea if it's due tomorrow? planning to be there

Is the Breitling team based at Hurn for the airshow days, or are they flying in each day? Would be good to see them take off and land.

Thank you. Will pop down if I can. The family want to see the Red Arrows later as they always give a good flypast when they land.

One of the people from the Gravity Jet Suit Display Demonstration, landed in the sea mid-display, no injuries.

Does anyone have the radio frequencies for the different aircraft flying or is there just one general frequency being used please?

Gravity went in the water again and have cancelled for the rest of the show. Shame as it is a fantastic design and I was looking forward to seeing it in action. Hopefully they'll bounce back quickly.
