Another year of ‘same old’. You’d think with the 30th Anniversary some foreign air arms may have been tempted to return but inevitably not.

Must admit, for all that it's on my only real opportunity to see my beloved Lancaster each year and of course it's a free show, the crowds, very distant display line and fairly dull content just make it not worth bothering anymore.

Met Office have now issued a thunderstorm warning for Friday. Worth keeping an eye on for anyone planning to go to the evening show.

I watched the live feed for a while on Youtube. Looked like they got some displays in. The Met Office rain radar is showing some > 32 mm/hour rainfall off the coast of Sunderland now, so I think they got lucky!
