Re: Sunderland Airshow 2018
Another year of ‘same old’. You’d think with the 30th Anniversary some foreign air arms may have been tempted to return but inevitably not.
Re: Sunderland Airshow 2018
If last year is anything to go by its worth going for the Blenheim alone.

Re: Sunderland Airshow 2018
Must admit, for all that it's on my only real opportunity to see my beloved Lancaster each year and of course it's a free show, the crowds, very distant display line and fairly dull content just make it not worth bothering anymore.
Re: Sunderland Airshow 2018
Met Office have now issued a thunderstorm warning for Friday. Worth keeping an eye on for anyone planning to go to the evening show.

So be warned that low rumble sound you may hear might not be Typhoon about to start his display!
Re: Sunderland Airshow 2018
I watched the live feed for a while on Youtube. Looked like they got some displays in. The Met Office rain radar is showing some > 32 mm/hour rainfall off the coast of Sunderland now, so I think they got lucky!
