I think having the song 'Thunderstruck' suits any Fast jet display, but that's my opinion. Commentary can be great in the right hands (or voices), but that's another discussion, and thread.
Nowt wrong with a bit of ACDC.
agree
The right music combined with the right commentary can elevate a display further.... Examples would be the music that the large international formation teams use: Patrouille de France/ Turkish Stars/ Team Orlik/ Patrouille Suisse/ Brietling Jet Team/ Patrulla Aguila ( RATATATATATATATA!!!) etc.
Some solo jets also music to good effect such as SoloTurk in the past
The Red Arrows don't use music with 'built in' to their display commentary, but I think it could work very well - they had music to their display at the Dutch Air Force Days a few years ago but non since...

The Reds famously got their fingers burned at the Turkish Centenary Show at Izmir back in 2011. After appearing on the Saturday with a strangely lacklustre display, they decided to 'spice it up a little' on the Sunday accompanied by music and probably because many of the other teams and solos did - I remember the sound system they had for that show was more in keeping with a rock concert.
It went wrong from the start. When they took off they played the Dambusters March and the commentator could not remember whether it was that or '633 Squadron'!
Worse was to follow, as bearing in mind that Turkey is a largely Muslim country, after they'd formed up they did their big arrival with 'Jerusalem' blasting out over the whole place - talk about an own goal. The selection of music did improve a bit after then, whilst many of the Brits cowered away in laughter and/or embarrassment!
Might explain why its taken a while to consider giving it another go.
