Dates are 11th- 13th September. 11th is an evening show again.

Looks like Southport is cancelled this year. Bang goes my last hope of an air show this year.

That's a shame. Season's a write off, as I don't fancy Duxford's offering.

Which is at least, I suppose, as I've expected for a little while now.

And add to the disappointment next year is set for 3-4 July, isn't that legends week end, so warbirds might be a bit thin.

Legends has historically been the second weekend of July.

..and in fact the last time Southport was in a July slot, in 2018, it did very well for warbirds. But not so well for modern military.

It makes for a more relaxing Friday night launch too.
