I came across this wreck - if that's not too kind a word - last week behind a shed in Vik on the south coast of Iceland. I thought I knew what it was and confirmed when I got home. Can you guess?

I think you’re both right, it’s the overhang of the side cockpit windows that does it ....unless anyone knows different.
It did have Air Mexico stencilled on the port side so heaven knows how it got there.

Yep, agree AN-2 Colt. You can see the upper and lower wing camber where the paint is missing.

It was a black an2 that crashed around 2004. Saw it at an airfield for years and suddenly disappeared. It looks like it's been used as a film prop.
