20 minutes is the limit of my commute threshold. I'll give it a go!
you could always put on Tubular Bells and then let us know which instrument he's on when you get to the end of your journey!
That's actually very funny. I might just do that - will get back to you
With just the slightest bit of finesse, I might have made a little less mess.

Surprisingly good for a Eurovision entry. It won't win though.

My prediction was wrong. And I am pleased. :sunglasses:

No, not this year. We have about 30 gigs lined up in the next 12 months, most delayed from last year. First up is Teenage Fanclub at Manchester Academy 2 in September. We'll see how that goes!

Northern Opera are touring a new setting of Carmen; if you have never experienced opera - maybe even been scared off it by the elite - Carmen is a cracker and a great intro for younger members of the family.

Good to hear. I wanted to catch the Fannies in Scotland but the dates didn't line up with my UK leave.

Who's Next - The Who's finest album and still my all time favourite , released 50 years ago yesterday and still stand the test of time well.
Every track is a cracker and the intro of the final track (Won't get fooled again) is the ringtone on my phone!

I never tire of listening to it and it had to have an airing this weekend to mark the anniversary

I think I’ll get my copy out too. 50 years - good grief, I can still remember getting it as a Christmas present!

As a lover of pop/rock, I really hope that other bands/performers look at what ABBA have done re the digital scanning tech. Future generations will never see these icons perform live but this is at least something. Imgagine if we had that tech to record the Beatles, Elvis, Jackson, Sinatra etc Re ABBA, Don't Shut Me Down is remarkable IMHO as it's just so ABBA if that makes sense. They have not tried to be gimicky or update their sound. It's an original song but the whole feel of ABBA is intact including the amazingly pure vocals. They also hark back to a simpler era and I have been in forums where fans have sponed about being in tears when hearing the new stuff. Whilst not crying, I can relate to who much emotion music can evoke and ABBA is a great example.

Well after a day after getting the new iron maiden album.

I'm very undecided about it. Whilst there are s couple of good songs but I just don't know what to make of the rest.

The hype of ABBA has passed me by. Never really liked them. But I'll give the new stuff a listen anyway.

I have to agree Andy 2/3 tracks on the new Maiden album are awesome, however still undecided about the rest though, it's a different vibe from Maiden of old.
