Up to Episode 3 of the new Series of "The Crown". Given it's 80's context, it was always going to be a favourite of mine but it is very good IMHO. Not perfect but we can discuss later to avoid spoilers (but I'm guessing there is a divorce coming)
“The best computer is a man, and it’s the only one that can be mass-produced by unskilled labour.”
Pulsating stylish thriller set in Moscow in 1999. For young investment banker Tom Blixen, making a career-saving trade means that enemies and killers turn up like Babushka dolls: one follows another.
From Walter Presents comes a compelling and stylish German drama set in 1974 about an East German spy sent to West Berlin on a 'Romeo' mission to target a female analyst from NATO
The Simpsons, season 28. This is currently on nightly on Ch4. Haven't seen much of the Simpsons since season 15, but it is a pale shadow of what it used to be.
"Nice pics mate" comments only! No criticism please.

I think for a cartoon / animated show that's ran continuously for 30 years they've done not bad, but I do agree - the episodes now are nowhere near as funny as those from the Mid - Late 90s.
Outback Truckers, really good series about Australian ultra heavy haulage guys moving some serious over size loads all over Oz.
Makes our Artics look tiny.
Fear City - the three-part documentary on the Mafia in New York and the FBI wiretaps. Fascinating stuff. On Netflix.
I watched this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Never realised how much Rudy Giuliani was involved in the prosecution of the Mafia as a New York DA in the 80's before he became mayor. What a sad figure of fun he has become compared to his former self.
Plus using "Hard Times" by Baby Huey and the Baby Sitters as the opening theme song for each episode was an unexpected bonus!
I recommend Tin Star. Tim Roth stars. The third and final series is on Sky Atlantic next week. Aired on Thursday 10th December with all series available on Sky.
Repair shop Christmas special. The normal series needs to carry some kind of tear jerker warning like they do for bad language or sexual content for other shows but doubling down with a xmas special is too much!!!
Watched Tom Hanks' Cast Away there. Interesting that FedEx backed the film, even though one of 'their' planes crashes in it. Great for any Ray Mears fans.
