Frankly, deer or no, I don't think they give a damn...
I read an account of a birding visit to Churchill in which the bloke said after he had birded some nearby woods, he returned to his car and then an adult male Polar Bear walked out of the woods he'd been in - it shook him to his core - in fact I think he may have had to look for somewhere more secure to meet an urgent need!

Blimey though, was this this prior to WW2? Could have been a very different outcome if not...

https://uk.news.yahoo.com/trump-asks-ge ... 07261.htmlPresident Trump urged Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn his electoral loss in the state, according to audio of a Saturday phone call between the two released by The Washington Post on Sunday. “There’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, um, that you’ve recalculated,” the president told the state’s top elections official.

Is there time to impeach Trump before the newly elected president takes over?

Yes. As he's been impeached already. Not sure the constitutional position on multiple offenders. Maybe it'll be something for the authorities in Georgia to pursue.CJS wrote: ↑Mon 04 Jan 2021, 1:00 pmWhat, again you mean?Spiny Norman wrote: ↑Mon 04 Jan 2021, 12:12 pmIs there time to impeach Trump before the newly elected president takes over?
Re: Presidential Election 2020
What is more worrying is the letter signed by 10 former US Secretaries of Defense warning against military intervention. I presume this is a warning to Trump not to use his powers as Commander in Chief to organise a military coup.
Makes one wonder what they have heard.

Re: Presidential Election 2020
Biden was complaining he had been blocked on military intel, There is speculation Homeland security and the military said no to something Trump wanted to do, and Biden is being blocked because it may have been martial law. Tonight's rally by Trump should be fun. He is supposed to be there to endorse the 2 candidates. Listening to the tape he did. It looks more like he is going to whine and lie about him being Robbed. Oh and about the fake death toll in America! 16 days to him being chucked out cannot come quick enough!

There's rumours Trump might be headed to Scotland to avoid Biden's Inauguration.

Auntie Nicola will love that one; maybe she can come up with a plan to let him rot in Dornoch jail.

SFM Nicola Sturgeon is putting the brakes on Trumps visit.

Seems Nicola has a sense of humour - quote lifted from article in link.
*I have no idea what Donald Trump's travel plans are," Sturgeon responded. "You'll be glad to know I hope and expect ... that the travel plan that he immediately has is to exit the White House. But beyond that I don't know."*

Someone needs to take the mic away from Trump. He's the sad drunk from accounts hogging it at the works night out karaoke.
Re: Presidential Election 2020
Some of Trump's supporters certainly need the mic taken away from them. This was a Pro-Trump speaker at a DC rally yesterday urging Trump supporters to seek out and hug strangers near to them.Spiny Norman wrote: ↑Wed 06 Jan 2021, 5:28 pmSomeone needs to take the mic away from Trump. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/clay-clark-tr ... 02598.htmlThe speaker, later identified as podcast host Clay Clark, told event attendees that COVID-19 was a hoax and then invited them hug each other at the event in Freedom Plaza.
“Turn to the person next to you and give them a hug, someone you don’t know,” Clark said. “Go hug somebody. Go ahead and spread it out, mass spreader. It’s a mass-spreader event! It’s a mass-spreader event! It’s a mass-spreader event!”
Clark also made a point to say he was open to hugs despite being in a committed relationship.
“There you go. Hug it out!” he added. “I’m married but if you want to give me a hug too, you can do that.”

If he thinks Covid-19 is a hoax, why is he saying “Go hug somebody. Go ahead and spread it out, mass spreader. It’s a mass-spreader event! It’s a mass-spreader event! It’s a mass-spreader event!”
Re: Presidential Election 2020
Things have turned ugly, both houses of congress have had to suspend proceedings as hundreds of protesters have stormed the congress and wandering round the building. There is talk of devices planted all this done by Trump loyalist.

Now reports of armed standoffs inside the building and demonstrates got into both chambers. Trump really is destroying democracy in the states.

No, they'll deal with this and come out stronger. But Trump's fate when those arrested or wounded start saying he told them to do it....
Re: Presidential Election 2020
I don’t think they need to wait for those fascists to say Trump told them to. It’s been clear for the past 4 years, and horridly clear in the last 6 weeks. It’s all on his Twitter feed. It’s all on tape, camera, in word.
Trump is a fascist. He’s always been a fascist. To think of all those people who guffawed and cheered him on. They should feel ashamed.

You of all people know he's entitled to due process. And that is another of the strengths of the USA, whatever we think of the Byzantine coils of US Law: I want to see him tried and imprisoned and preferably never let out, but I want it to be visibly as a result of a fair trial.Tommy wrote: ↑Wed 06 Jan 2021, 8:50 pmI don’t think they need to wait for those fascists to say Trump told them to. Of course, I’m just saying you don’t need those people saying “Trump” told me for sufficient evidence that he told them. It’s already out there.
