Well if the comments listed below the hard hitting article are anything to go by it seems they have a fair bit of support.

The state of that comment section. Samphire Hoe is a lovely stretch of coastline, it's a great shame to see these pound shop fascist bells polluting it.

I don't think they're as racist as the 'Leave.EU' bunch, though....

The irony is that the EU is by and large against immigration. The reason refugees are so desperate to get to the UK is because on the whole we are a very welcoming country. 'The Jungle' is testament to that...

These morons on the beach should have nothing to do with the Brexit debate.

I think that we learnt that from the Americans. I've visited the American Supreme Court, it's very impressive.

Given that David Cameron appears to be continuing to dig deeper the hole he is in, I was wondering how much you’ll be able to pick a copy of his book at The Works for? I reckon if might be one of the 3 for £5 offers.

Cameron is doing rather well if you ask me. I mean - everyone is talking about his book. He'll sell boatloads.

There you go....corrected that for you, free of charge....

The genuine refugees either internally migrate ( they stay in their own Country ) or they end up in a Country neighbouring their own.
The migrants who try to come to the UK do so either because they already have family/relatives/friends over here or because the criminal gangs tell them it's the best Country to come to.

Ironically, they'd be better off heading for Germany ( although that may well change one Mutti Merkel is ousted ) or Sweden ( although like Belgium, they seem to be seeing a hardening of attitudes against them )

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-deadline-irish-backstop-no-deal-stephen-barclay-october-a9111756.html
The EU has set Britain a test it “cannot meet” with its demands to see a replacement for the Irish backstop, the Brexit secretary has said.
Stephen Barclay said the UK should be given another year to find a new policy for the Northern Ireland border.

The intervention comes as Downing Street said it would not be bound by an “artificial deadline” in talks.

“We are told the UK must provide legally operative text by the 31 October,” the cabinet minister Mr Barclay said in a speech in Madrid on Thursday.
“Yet the alternative to the backstop is not necessary until the end of the implementation period in December 2020.
And this will be shaped by the future relationship – which is still to be determined.
In short why risk crystallising an undesirable result this November, when both sides can work together – until December 2020"

Guess he's forgotten who it is who's imposing the October deadline.....

Not too long ago you have to think this would've kept a party out of government for a decade or more. Now it all seems worryingly normal. Maybe that's the point.

Great. Now all the MPs who were whinging about democracy and not having their say can return to 'work' and stop us leaving.

The problem is that they didn't actually judge him to have done that, though.

It never has, although no doubt Trump will stick his oar in and say it's all a plot against Boris.

It was a wonderful example of democracy -- the Supreme Court deciding we're a democracy not a dictatorship where the 'Supreme Leader' can do what he wants.

This is a genuine question...

If I 'act unlawfully' I can (should, if caught) be arrested and face charges (a fine, a prison sentence etc etc...) If the PM 'acts unlawfully' is s/he somehow above this happening to them?

Also, can anyone (I mean actually anyone, including BoJo himself) really, truly and honestly* see a way in which he can stay on as PM now?

*I realise that these are not words you would choose to describe a lot of politicians, so the answer I guess will be 'yes'!
