Sad. The last time I watched a soap was when Emmerdale was Emmerdale Farm. Shortly after the change all soaps became histrionic, nasty and violent

Agree - it must be the only village that’s had both an airliner and a helicopter crash on it. I wouldn’t live there unless I was in an underground bunker. And, of course, ‘Emmerdale’ used to be the farm and the village was ‘Beckindale’.

Sad to see that Neil Innes has departed this world :sad:

Always loved his work with the Bonzos, then the Rutles, Rutland Weekend Television, and of course, his theme song and voices in The Raggy Dolls for children of the 80's.

Think that was Davy Jones. Sadly died in 2012.
