Thats your opinion, it’s wrong, totally but you’re entitled to it.

It’s a great Bond theme, very similar to Adele & Skyfall, be very good to see the opening sequence alongside the theme tune

As you are entitled to your incorrect opinion.

Last 3-4 bond themes have , in my wrong opinion, not been that good.

I'm a big fan of the new theme song. It fits the mood of the Craig films very well. The first trailer looked very promising, too. Hoping for good things with this one!

Hans Zimmer's scoring NTTD - Arnold's last work on the franchise was Quantum of Solace. The great Thomas Newman scored Skyfall and Spectre.

Meanwhile...

Not very Attractive if she is indeed the next jane bond or whatever shes called.

This is a truly hilarious and revealing comment. You could spend all day tearing it to shreds but for what? It's just par for the course for UKAR's worst poster.

I hope Lashana Lynch is the new 007, if only to see manbabies the world over absolutely freaking out to a degree not seen since a woman used the Force.

To some extent, the Bond music has reflected the state of Bond and this has reflected our wider self image as a country. Remember Roger Moore in TSWLM?, literally waving the Union flag on his parachute. Nobody did do it better. No questions, no doubts. "Keeping the British end up"

And we move forward to the DC Bond who seems to have lost all of the swagger and self esteem that Connery and Moore had. Wrecked by personal loss, inner turmoil and personal deamons. Perhaps a reflection of a country, more interested in "self help", "mental well being", political correctness and inward reflection than bonking girls, drinking Martinis and killing the bad guys with a single shot and a single one liner.

And so we have SS and now BE. The lack of energy, the whining, "poor me", its so needy

"How do I live? How do I breathe? When you're not here I'm suffocating, I want to feel love, run through my blood" Get a grip man! this is James Bond! :dizzy:

where is the power of Bassey, the balls of Tom Jones, the confidence of Sir Paul, even the catchy sharpness of Duran Duran?

CR had the last truely great Bond theme IMHO. "The coldest blood runs through my veins".

End of rant

Casino Royale (CR) had the best song, yes, composed by CC and DA

Hi Elliot,

'revealing comment'? how so? Are you suggesting as a counterpoint to my post, that my opinion that Bond Films are about glamour, sexuality, fun, thrills, guns, which is so beloved (although maybe a tad outdated nowadays) by such a huge amount of the population of this globe we all live on, is wrong or do you think i have an agenda? i'm sure myself ,as 'UKAR's Worst poster' that i dont have either a sexual (ok i take on board the attractive comment, but they are arent they?) or any other agenda except stating that i thought that the trailer looked 'm-eh' , and that the theme, again to myself, sounded insipid and not punchy enough for a Bond film.

Ok, fair enough, its about opinions, so please dont beat about the bush, please venture yours again expounding on my 'revealing comment'.

I'm sure most if us would be interested to hear your 'take' on that matter.
Thanks
Dave (UKARWP :win: )

Thankfully not but I imagine it worse, if comparing it to what I have been through its worse than Southend United's season! (yes the theme song really is that bad)

Agreed. Bourne and the Mission Impossible films have made them irrelevant, and they're weighed down by their own history. Spectre was unbelievably bad. Unfortunately a lot of people don't want them to move forward, and constantly compare them to whatever their 'golden age' was. The only ones I rewatch now if they happen to be on are the Connery ones. The new song is OK but due to the way music is listened to now I'll never hear it again, so not fussed either way.

I’ve just heard the song and it’s absolutely fine - pretty good in fact. Very Bond, indeed almost stereotypically so. My only slight criticism is that I’m not sure BE was the right person to sing it; to me it sounds like a Lana Del Rey track, I think her voice would have suited it perfectly.

Looking forward to seeing the film itself, I’m always amazed by just how much some people get exercised over the Bond movies.

There has been a rumour floating about that the plot in the new film involves the villain threatening to release a global virus. It's possible that this could be another reason for the delay? (we shall see if other major releases are delayed)

Interestingly, i heard a rumour that pre screening reviews by test audiences didn't prove particularly good, and so 'call backs' and some re-shooting / editing is needed, subsequently delaying the release, coincidentally with this coronavirus thingy.
