Birmingham's Games

Post by Slinger65 »

Spent a lovely evening with my better half taking in the busy but welcoming Commonwealth Games atmosphere around the city centre. How the city centre has been transformed from the run down dereliction of my childhood back in the 1970's...in almost all respects for the better. Camera technology has moved on a wee bit since then too - these taken with nothing more sophisticated than an iphone SE:

Camera technology certainly has moved on! I remember spending hours in the darkroom as a lad with my Dad, rocking trays of developer and fixer!

The canal shot is gorgeous!
