A dull start to the flying today which made taking photos a bit of a challenge...it did brighten up near the end. Sadly no Mustang pictures as it was way to high for any decent shots, compared to Sptifire, Hurricane and Buchon. Very nice topsides from both the B-17 and Lancaster did help the display...

I was going to post them today but thought what the heck...apparently there was a warning of possible wind shear on approach but that came after the Catalina display, which would explain its wheelie landing.

Lovely shots. We really are blessed with the most beautiful warbirds in the UK aren't we?

You have managed the challenging light very well and come home with an excellent selection of images. Nice work!
