Had a trip out to dunwich heath saturday for the Dartford Warbler as i had never seen one before tricky little things to photograph as they only pop up now and then. the light was challenging along with rain showers

I agree, fine effort on a mobile and elusive bird.

Beautiful little things! I hit one a glancing blow in the car (doing about 40 MPH which is the speed limit) in the New Forest a while back. Looking in the mirror I could see it lying in the road. Thankfully there was little traffic about so I was able the stop the car and go back and pick him (or her) up. As I walked onto the heath he revived, and jumped out of my hand down into the gorse. That was a good feeling!
