Wildlife 2012

Post by Tim Laurence »

Here are some of my highlights from 2012 (and a few from January this year thrown in). I found myself being a bit more selective with aviation and doing alternative subjects.

Wow . . no double wow . . what a fantastic set of pictures.Got to be the best wildlife images I have ever seen on here.
I presume the Tiger and other cats are "in the wild" and if so how far away were you? The horse pics are brilliant.Looking through these has certainly brightened up a very wet and grey day,any more ?

thanks for sharing

Excellent series of shots Tim. All sharp and well exposed and the cats seem to enjoying themselves in the snow.

Started to list my favourites then found that there were so many and they were all equally as good. Love the big cats.

Just out of interest, where were they taken.

Wow, Those pictures are brilliant! The amount of hours put in to get these shots must have been huge. Do you work professionally as a wildlife photographer? I love the Great White shots the second especially is a brilliant composition.

I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.

Oh Wow! If picture of the week also included General Photography... This thread sure would have to be in it. I just can't pick a favorite out of the bunch. Amazing set!

Tim,

Simply wow! Those are fantastic images of some truly beautiful animals. Were they all wild? I would love to order some if that's possible.

Excellent big cat shots Tim!
Knowing just how rare, elusive, limited in range and generally nocturnal the Siberian Tiger and Snow Leopards are I assume these were taken on one of the numerous captive Big Cat photo workshops available.

Fabulous photos. Apart from the horses & sharks, are these wild animals? And if so..... how?

Thankyou to everyone who viewed and left a kind comment.

I decided to do a 3 day workshop in the Bridger Mountains, MT. A fantastic experience to capture animals such as a snow leopard behaving naturally in an free and open terrain. Thoroughly worth doing, with very pleasing results.
