Re: Concerts 2019
You did well getting tickets for PATD, I took my daughter to Glasgow to see them the other week. Left her and my wife at the Hydro and took some night shots on the river!
How did Bob Mould sound? Copper Blue is one of my all-time favourite albums.

Re: Concerts 2019
Bob Mould sounded as good as ever. A great selection of Sugar and Husker Du songs as well as his newer stuff. Hard to notice the difference. All played loud and at high speed

A small update with some recent gigs.
Manic Street Preachers at the Ritz in Manchester in May.

Next, the superb Prophets of Rage at the Manchester Academy in August. Basically Prophets Of Rage are Rage Against The Machine but with Chuck D of Public Enemy and B-Real of Cypress Hill.

A tribute to the late Chris Cornell. The band played Cochise with a floodlit empty mike stand. The audience did the vocals. Brilliant.

Lastly for now, the legend that is Midge Ure at the Albert Hall in Manchester on 25th October.

Blooming ageist comment- some of us over 30 still enjoy gigs! Steve Hackett for me next week.

To be fair he is 66. He does OK for a pensioner.
A few more.
The Blinders on 2nd November at an album launch event at 33 Oldham Street in Manchester.
Excellent as always.

The following night I went to London to the Scala at King's Cross to see Adorable, one of the early 1990s most underrated and forgotten bands. They reunited for just a handful of gigs to mark 25 years since their last concert in 1994. This one was the last gig on Sunday 3rd November.
