Great photo's. I was looking at the Sigma 180 macro as a lot of friends use that one, but that 105 looks tasty as well .

Thanks Guys. i've been out again today found a spot with some nice Broad-bodied chasers taken with Nikon D750 Tamron 150-600 G2
Last two shots were taken with a Nikon D7200 Sigma 105mm F2.8 and a Nikon 1.4 converter

Wow, those emerging shots are incredible. I've been dabbling with an old macro during shut down, nothing special but can I ask a couple of questions, are you using flash, are you using high iso as you seem to have quite reasonable depth of field for macro photos. Thanks for posting them, they are stunning, I much prefer these to the ultra clos macro shots when the subject has been captured, cooled or even frozen before posing.

Thanks. no flash the light wasn't brilliant as it was cloudy but the start of the emerging was taken at ƒ/5.6 105.0 mm 1/400 1250iso the end was ƒ/8.0 105.0 mm 1/640 900iso
